Getting Ready for Your Chiropractic Visit
- If this is your first visit to our offices, you will need to complete our Patient Health History Form. It can be downloaded and printed from this website. Bring it with you when you come.
- Your first visit will be a comprehensive exam and a review of your specific physical concern. Some treatment will occur in the first session: an adjustment, myofacial release and/or other appropriate treatment protocols.
- Your first visit will usually last about 30 minutes. Your following visits will be 15-30 minutes generally but may be longer if you are, for example, also being treated on the spinal decompression table.
- Many of our patients come in with serious spinal or joint conditions. We may need to see you often in the early stages of care, tapering off over a 4-6 week period.
- Once you are out of pain we recommend regular preventative maintenance care. Not waiting until you are in pain saves time and money and secures a path to better health.
